Individual Long Term Care Insurance

Long Term Care Basics

While it's great that medical advancements have led to longer lifespans, they also increase the likelihood of needing long-term care. This type of care can be expensive and is usually not covered by Medicare unless you are hospitalized for at least three days.

Statistics

About 70% of Americans who reach age 65 will need long-term care at some point in their lives.

Coverage Options

TM Insurance offers two types of coverage:

Long-Term Care: Covers care for a year or longer in a nursing home, assisted living facility, or at home.

Short-Term Care: Covers care for up to one year in a nursing home, assisted living facility, or at home.
