Meidcare Part D coverage helps pay for the cost of prescription medications. Plans are offered by private insurance companies and cover a portion of your drugs expenses. Because these plans vary by each carrier and each year, it is important to review them with a local Medicare agent.
Just because your prescription medications were previously covered, doesn’t mean they will continue to be covered the following year. It's important to review during the Annual Enrollment Period which takes place on October 15 through December 7th.
